Chart Calculation

compose the reading: the traditions, the system of each, one person or two — then open the chart

One birth, thirteen traditions of calculation. Each reads the same sky in its own grammar — system, frame of reference and depth are yours to choose; the number always comes from the engine, never from the words.

Depth:
Adds the deep layer wherever the tradition has one: the outer planets, the hidden stems (藏干/지장간), the mewa, the neptu. The engine computes it all; the mode only decides what is shown.
Place of birth
51.51, -0.13 · UTC+0
source: curated embedded atlas + Open-Meteo Geocoding (when online); the historical time zone is resolved by the engine, from the coordinates (IANA tzdata)

Gender only changes the reading where the doctrine forks — the direction of the decennial cycles (大運 · 大限 · Đại vận). That calculation is not in the engine yet: for now the field changes no chart at all, and we say so rather than pretend. Left blank, once the cycles arrive, the reading will show both conventions, side by side.
